BP in children Found an old but good article on the importance of taking B.P's in children. Written 10 years ago it discusses taking BP's in the acutely unwell child but also delves into the concerns of our rising childhood obesity rates. "Childhood hypertension is no longer limited to renal, metabolic, and other rare secondary causes but seems to track the growing rates of obesity in children, their reduced physical activity, and the development of maturity onset diabetes in this group." Watch this space as I am delving into more current papers. Louise Spooner
