First minutes matter: trauma training
Picture
In a cardiac arrest, seizure or choking episode, every second counts.  It is therefore important that we educate our community and equip them with the skills to manage time-critical medical events while waiting for help to arrive.
First minutes matter is a community education initiative from Lifeflight, designed to teach practical skills of first aid. The program comprises online training and in-person workshops that are provided free of charge. Topics are delivered by the Lifeflight medical team) and include CPR, the management of burns, seizures, snake bite and bleeding.
